This presentation will provide a general overview as well as situational examples in KS/MO topics including:

 

 -Bad faith and extra-contractual insurer liability in the wake of recent statutory revisions

 

-Navigating the outer limits of "no pay, no play" statutes and restrictions on a claimant's right to seek select catergories of damages; and

 

-The diminished value of ascertaining past medical in discovery in light of statutory revisions to the admissibility of past medical bills and treatment.

 

 

Taylor Connolly is a senior associate with Brown & James, P.C. practicing in the firm's Kansas City office.  Mr. Connolly practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation, construction law, employment law, insurance law, premises and retail liability, and product liability.  Additionally, Mr. Connolly has successfully prosecuted mechanics' lien claims in connection with construction improvement projects in the greater Kansas City area.  He has a J.D from William & Mary Law School graduating cum laude and a Bachelors Degree from Kansas State University graduating summa cum laude.
