Educational and informative meetings are held the third Thursday of odd-numbered months. Social events are held on the third Thursday of even-numbered months. Luncheon meetings take place at a local restaurant in a private dining room and include a presentation and speaker discussing a variety of topics relevant to our industry. Some monthly meetings may be replaced by a special event or outing, so please check the Meetings & Events tab for dates and information.

GKCCA Members, please join us on Thursday May 16 for a CE luncheon at the Hereford House in Leawood, KS from 11:30 am to 1 pm.  Our speaker is Todd Soong from NEFCO Fire Investigations.  During this class, Todd will give a basic review of electrical distribution systems and there will be demonstrations of electricity and interactive experience with electrical myths and legends.  This class will be accredited for one hour of CE adjuster credit through the state of TX.

Todd Soong is a Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, as well as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Todd is a retired fire officer from Rock Community (MO) Fire Protection District and has more than 25 years of experience in the fire service. He is a Certified Instructor through the International Association of Arson Investigators and National Fire Academy. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University. He has written a book and does his part being involved in several professional affiliations.
