I am excited to get the Claims Association activities up and running for 2018. It is my pleasure to announce the 2018 GKCCA Board as follows:
President - Nick Verzani (Allstate Insurance)
Vice President - In need of VP, must be an adjuster/claim manager role
Secretary - Taylor Connolly (Brown and James Law Firm)
Treasurer - George Waldron (Zipco Contracting)
Social Chair - Glenda Harris (Arrow Fire and Water Restoration)
Social Media Chair - In need of volunteer.
The fee structure for membership dues will be $200 annually for vendors. The $200 membership fee includes admittance for two company representatives to the continuing education luncheons that will be held. No additional fees will be charged for attendance at the luncheons. A vendor membership includes admittance to any of the social events like the golf outing, Royals game, etc. Additional fees are sometimes required for the social events depending on the type of event and venue. Vendor membership fees can be paid now via PayPal using the GKCCA website: www.gkcca.org.
We are always trying to increase the insurance adjuster/manager involvement in the association. As such, no membership fees or costs for luncheons will be imposed on the individuals in an insurance adjuster/manager/professional role.
The board has tentatively planned the following events for 2018:
CE Luncheon on March 1
CE Luncheon on April 5
Social Event on May 10
Charity Golf Event on June 21
CE Luncheon on August 23
Royals game sometime in September
CE Luncheon on October 25
Holiday Party on December 13
We will do our best to have the educational luncheon events pre-approved for adjuster CE credit.
